Too Much To Tell

So it has been FOREVER since I have blogged, and whenever that happens it means that a lot has happened, and then I have to decide what to write about. Well, I have been thinking and thinking of what adventures I should tell...
Should I tell of the Fourth of July, when we went to Green Acres, and Gaupo's family witnessed me driving a tractor for the first time in their lives. I actually like driving tractor, but shh they might make me do it if they know, but here is a picture to prove that yes I can drive a tractor. Though this tractor was ridiculously easy compared to the old Ford tractor we use at my home. Well, since we are on the topic of that weekend, I should also mention that we had a glorious time. Guapo had the time of his life driving tractors and loading hay. He really likes it, I don't know why it is kind of scary business, if you stack it wrong it topples over and you get in trouble. (I hate getting in trouble) However, Guapo loved it he looked so much at home and in control it is always so fun to see.
Guapo coming to tell his wife she is amazing.
Nah, I don't think I  will tell that story. Maybe I should tell about our 24th of July weekend trip...

On the 24th of July we went to a family reunion on my Mom's side. Oh boy was it fun! We went boating, had a variety show, swung from a giant swing, accomplish multiple ropes courses, played minute to win it, and had amazing food. Reunions are so fun. If you want my definition of it a reunion is when a bunch of family who know how to have a good time, get together and have over 24 hours of solid fun. They laugh hard, love a lot, and help each other. Everyone works together to pull it off and everyone is sad when it is over. They are usually happy to go home and sleep in their own bed, but saying good-bye is just so hard. That is what I can a reunion. The fun times didn't stop there, all of my family then went up to my home away from home and had a weiner roast, which for those of you who don't know is when you roast hot dogs over a fire. Then we had Christmas in July. My brother and his wife are having a baby so they wont be there for Christmas and Gaupo and I need to spend at least one Christmas at Green Acres. Anyway it was a fun filled night, but we all crashed hard. Too much play, not quite enough sleep.

Nah, that is not really the adventure I should tell either. Maybe I should tell about this past Saturday...

Yesterday was a SUPER Saturday, meaning we used it all up. It started with sleeping in. For those of you who don't know what that is I will explain. It means you stay in bed whether asleep or not until  at least 8:00 if not 9:00 or after. I think noon is ridiculous personally, but some people think that is what sleeping in is. No matter the time it means you rest in bed until later than you usually get out of bed by at least an hour. Okay, after we did that we had breakfast, of Guapo's homemade zucchini bread, and an egg. Oh it was so good. Then we finished Guapo's paper and went to the Fair. Boy I thought other fairs were small but this was super small, but it was still fun. My favorite part would be going to the Farmer's Market afterwards, and filling a bag as full as we could of produce for $10. Guapo and I aren't much for getting totally ripped off so I will tell you that bag was FULL. After that we did our first week of shopping and got way to much food. I really hope it lasts awhile. After shopping we came home and made one of our favorite meals--Biscuits and Gravy. Oh Guapo makes good gravy and I make good biscuits. After dinner was cleaned up we watched 'The Italian Job' which I actually liked, and then took a shower and went to bed. Now you will read this and think how could that have taken all-day remember Guapo and I are world's longest Grocery shoppers, I am worlds best stroller  and looker, and we slept in and had homework.

Well, looking back it looks like I caught you up on the big adventures. I will try to do better so you can know more about the little things like special projects at work, funny jokes, ultimate Frisbee, and Cub Scouts, but all in good time. Thanks again for reading more notes from Adventure Girl. Until next remember just call if you want to know what I am doing everyday. hehehahehe

  1. Well I wrote a long comment and then it deleted so I'll try again. I think it is disgusting how good the weather is there and all the adventures you get to have in those temperatures and humidity levels. It is fun to read about your adventures, so keep it up.
